Ok, I’m not really the world’s biggest fan advertising especially the kind that is masked as a piece of journalism in your typical women’s magazine. But Laura Laine could very well change my mind. The Finnish illustrator did the following spread in the latest issue of Muse Magazine. While it certainly does a great job at accentuating the products, it’s Laine’s illustrations that really make this otherwise dull ad/ product endorsement sequence entirely bearable. I wish some American mags would take the hint and start putting a little bit of art and creativity into their editorials.
