hotelicopter 550x324 Too weird to be true

A while back I described a one-of-a-kind experience at Hotel Everland in Paris.  A few days later, I spoke of my love for portmanteau words. And recently, something came along that combined these two concepts in a surreal fashion.

What can you do with an obsolete  military helicopter that isn’t ready to be consigned to the scrap heap yet? Turn it into a flying hotel, of course! Yes, the planned Hotelicopter was briefly the talk of the internet. It even had a following on Facebook. But then some netizens set loose their investigative powers, and the truth was revealed. Turns out the whole thing was an April Fools gag.

Hopefully everyone reading this got to pull off at least one good April fool on somebody this year.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it’s a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.
