The Chinese are Cock-Blocking Peacocks!

If you see a bunch of bald sad peacocks running around, do not be alarmed, they are alright and the reason they are bald and obviously sad is because some Chinese fashion designer decided to use their feathers for a dress. All for a wedding dress expo in Nanjing, east China’s Jiangsu Province. This $1.5 million dress is created out of 2,009 pieces of peacock feathers which took eight handicraftsmen two months to finish ( don’t know if the time to catch and pluck peacocks is included ). Not really sure who would want to wear this to a wedding, not to mention it probably smells like peacock poop, the way I see it is as if someone shaved off my ass hair and made a wedding dress out of it, might not be as pretty  ( although I beg to differ ) but pretty much the same concept.

According to the Wiki… “The male peacock flares out its feathers when it is trying to get the female’s attention.” It’s going to be a lonely season for some bald sad Chinese peacocks, more power to you boys!
