The Art of Alexandros Vasmoulakis

The aesthetic of young Greek artist  Alexandros Vasmoulakis is truly one of a kind. Intrigued by the notion of the individual, his installations complicate the definition of street art while striving to communicate his own unique perspective to the viewer.

Though Alexandros’ pieces have political and social undertones, the focus remains on singular figures and the complex relationships we have with ourselves.  “Couples, when they quarrel, are mutually defeated and the losses of this idle fight are hardly countable. Meanwhile, inner conflict is even more blurry and scarcely conscious”, says Vasmoulakis.
