Chat Roulette, is a web site that connects random strangers over their web cameras. You just go on it and you get randomly connected to someone, thats it. Cool idea, but there is always someone who can come and along and make it awesome, like Merton did. No one really know who Merton really is, but we do know that he works with computers and taught him self how to play the piano. Being a shy performer he saw Chat Roulette as a medium to do his improvs and it’s amazing. His piano improv video’s have hit the 4 million mark on YouTube and are the highest ranking videos ever, take that GaGa. Can’t wait to see his other videos. These New Puritans – We Want War Video

These New Puritans are a British rock band from the Southend-on-Sea area. The group consists of Jack Barnett (songwriter, producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist), his twin brother George Barnett (drums, loops), Thomas Hein (bass guitar, sampler, drums), and Sophie Sleigh-Johnson (keyboards, sampler).

We Want War is a single coming off of their second recorded studio album called Hidden. Got to be honest with you, this track is unique and so is the video that goes with it. It’s always great to see a video complement the music, a rare sight these days in my opinion. Enjoy and pick up their new album Hidden if you dig it…

OK Go – This Too Shall Pass Video

OK Go is a rock band originally from Chicago, Illinois, now residing in Los Angeles. The band is composed of Damian Kulash (vocals and guitar), Tim Nordwind (bass guitar and vocals), Dan Konopka (drums and percussion) and Andy Ross (guitar, keyboards and vocals). Turned internet celebrities over night with their video “Here it goes again“, where the band members ran, jumped off and on treadmills. “This Too Shall Pass” video is trying to capture the same success and energy. So far it seems like it is doing just that. Check out the video after the break. Pretty impressive stuff!

Sade ( Sade Adu ) is a British Nigerian singer-songwriter, composer, and record producer. I personally know her for what I call “sex music”. Obviously that is an understatement in regards to her talent as a musician, but it is really nice having sex to her songs! She’s been a bit out of the loop for the past 8 years considering her last album was in 2002. Well, she’s back and she’s got more great songs to have sex to. Her latest album “Soldier of Love” is slated for release on February 8, 2010. To promote the album, she has released a video to her first single “Soldier of Love”. Can’t say I’m in love with the video, but the song is great. Take a peek I have a feeling you’ll like it…

Goodie Reminder: We Share Our Mother’s Health – The Knife

I am a huge fan of The Knife, they are an electro pop duo from Sweden that formed in 1999. They consist of siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer, who together also run their own record company, Rabid Records. “We Share Our Mother’s Health” is one many great songs that have come out of the critically acclaimed album Silent Shout. The song is amazing and the video is even better. What I love about the video is that combined with the song, it almost puts you in a trance, takes you away from reality. It’s one of those videos that can mean a lot or nothing, all depends on the mood you are in when you watch it…

Alright Terminator 2 fans, this might be is your lucky day. I just happen to stumble upon this awesome piece of work and I had to share it with you. Comprising nothing but small sounds recorded from the James Cameron masterpiece ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day’, ‘Skynet Symphonic’ is a tribute to one of the greatest action features of all time! Each section is composed entirely of sounds from a major scene in the film and the most amazing part about is that it was all compiled into a video too. You gotta see this, it gets better as it goes…

The Roots are a Grammy Award-winning, American hip hop band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They are famed for beginning with a jazzy, eclectic approach to hip hop which still includes live instrumentals. Over the years they have generated a great deal of critical acclaim and influenced numerous rap and R&B acts. On March 2, 2009, they became the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. I watch Jimmy Fallon almost every day and they do an amazing job. But lets go a few years back and revisit The Roots that I fell in love with.There is a new album in the works, planned to be released in 2010 called “How I Got Over”, but meanwhile enjoy the video after the break…
