He claims that the manipulation and maintenance of Bonsai trees is an example of “Wabi-Sabi,” Wabi being the kind of beauty that is caused by the right kind of imperfection and Sabi being the kind of beauty that can come only with age. Simply amazing work by Polish illustrator Mariusz Kozik based out of Lublin City, Poland. For whatever reason his nickname is Lacedemon, doesn’t really matter to me because I can’t stop starring at his work. Most of his work seems to concentrate on war, from medieval knights to most recent infantries. All I know is this guy needs to design heavy metal album covers, I’d buy the CD just for the album art.
