Hello there friends! Anna speaking. From New York. Manhattan, to be precise. The greatest place on the planet.

Just a little introduction before getting our hands dirty with a little bit of music, some art, and a lot of life. I moved from Milano, Italia about four years ago. I love life, and what better place to enjoy it other than our beautiful New York City? [ Continue Reading ]

While at first I was repulsed, indignant, and generally had my knickers in a twist (which sounds more and more like a cocktail than a turn of phrase), I feel much better now, and, besides the two or three decompressive cocktails, I’ll tell you why.  [ Continue Reading ]

This tweenbot is equipped with a flag stating it’s destination and since it can only move forward, it soley depends on stranger’s kindness to point it in the correct direction so it can reach it’s destination. Ink and water star in a silent elegance. If you ever thought of a photograph as just a “mirror with a memory” and photography as just a means of capturing the beauty that surrounds us, think again. Japanese photographer Shinichi Maruyama’s Kusho “Writing in the Sky” series

christmasjpg 600x956 251x400 Reverie with Mario HugoI have a nine year-old daughter, and I love her to the end of the world. But I wouldn’t collaborate with her professionally. New York artist Mario Hugo sees it differently. He often shares ideas with his nine year-old brother, and plans to produce a book of their works. Hugo also wants to make children’s books, which I would have no problem sharing with my daughter.

nocturne with satellites2 Richard T Scott

I love the work of this New York painter Richard T Scott. It’s really interesting how at first glance his work appears to be just a beautifully crafted traditional painting, but upon closer inspection you realize that there are subtle and strange things occurring. Thanks to James for sending this one in, check out Richard website for more of his work.
