Back in Moldova, when I was little, majority of motorcycles we had riding around were the ones with the sidecar attached. It was more than just a motorcycle, it was considered to be almost like a car, you would see a dad riding it with his kids in the sidecar, mom in the back holding on for dear life. It was cute. Then I come to America and realize if I ever had one of these as a parent I would be pointed and laughed at. Even more so if I rode on one of these things, the Snaefell. It is a motorcycle that has a two seated car body attached to it. It’s the product of 10 years and $20,000 worth of custom work, a combination of a Kawasaki 1000 RX the and a Citroën Xantia. Ugly? Sure. Creative? Oh yeah. What do you think?

I know this might look like a bike from the future but it’s actually real. This new wheel concept is called Hubless wheels, designed by Amen Design, besides looking cool this design also improves on things such as breaking, steering and reduced vibration of the wheel. Definitely looks cool, never know, might become a wheel standard sooner than later.

It’s kind of ugly, but its electric so you can’t really be too mad at it. Can’t win them all. Built by Mission Motors, this electric bike is expected to hit 150mph and an estimated range of 150 miles.   The first 50 bikes produced will be a special Limited Edition model delivered in 2010 bearing a $68,995 price tag, while a standard, more affordable Mission One will be announced this summer. Looking forward to it…

Just watch and be stunned.  Can’t even imagine the concentration you need to have to perform this.
