Everybody knows what a memorable logo did for Barack Obama‘s campaign. But getting elected president might be child’s play compared to fixing this economic mess. So the Obama people went back to Mode Project, a Chicago studio they employed during the campaign. Whether these new logos will translate into public confidence remains to be seen. At least there are some interesting things to chew on.
The “Recovery” logo calls to mind a “T and O” map from centuries ago. And what the Tiger logo lacks in complexity, it makes up for by reminding us of the most powerful athlete in the world. The new president could have done a lot worse than that.
