Every day, I come on this site, and there’s always something cool to check out. All of you people out in internet-land are getting the low down on everything cool in the visual arts, music, film, technology… everything under the cyber sun. Still, there is something that’s been bugging me in the back of my mind for the past couple of weeks. Two things, actually. First of all, and it’s unsurprising on a website that prides itself on visual content, is the short shrift given to literary works. There’s pieces here and there, but writers have definitely been given the short end of the stick. Secondly; when I came aboard, I mentioned in my introduction piece that it would be my goal to get to know our writers and readers. To an extent, this is happening.
