What can you really say about coloured fish skeletons? Really. Japanese scientists have found a way to make a dead animal’s flesh and muscles transparent and then they¬†discovered how to¬†dye the skeletal systems various colours. Is it art? Is it science? Does it straddle the two, beautifully proving some guy in a lab’s theory of something or other while looking pretty cool in the meantime? These would make interesting conversation pieces atop the mantle or put up by the hundreds on little shelves on the wall.
