Vertu, one of the worlds finest mobile phone producers, if not the finest, has teamed up with French jeweler, The House of Boucheron, to create a very unique cell phone. The Vertu Boucheron 150. It was a collaborative effort to celebrate the jewelers 150th anniversary. It’s crafted from solid gold and, rumor has it, took 1,000 hours to cut to shape, 700 hours to polish, and 500 hours to construct. The exact sticker value was hard to find but estimates released projected the $30,000 range. Not too bad for something that looks like it was thrown into a garbage disposal. So why did Boucheron randomly decide Vertu was a perfect match to work with? Well, they have a history of making extravagant, over-the-top, out-of-the-ordinary, phone-jewelry hybrids. The other image you see below is the Vertu phone with Boucheron’s detachable pendant accessories. Visit The House of Boucheron for more images and info on the other bling-bling mobile devices they sell. Median price for these diamond soaked bitches- $350,000. Hell, I’d by one if I had that kind of change laying around.
