Now this is just the sort of crap that I like. Tacky and a little corny? Who cares. I mean this is the sorta thing that just can’t find itself to die. And someone is always out there adding their own little flourish. That certain twist and tweek. Sometimes it’s a massive failure. Other times it’s a smirk inducing indulgence. This is one of those. There really isn’t much to talk about here. Emeric Trahand is a French artist in New York and bla bla bla yada yada yada right?

Legos. Legos. Legos. Legos. Yes. Yes. The pinnacle of childhood joy. There was nothing quite like building something in wonderful colours, then placing it somewhere everyone could see. Crafting wood has got to be, by far, one of the most ancient skills and form of art. Not only that but it is fucking crazy hard to do. Trust me. I asked my uncle to teach me. I couldn’t do it. Well Mike Rea obviously has the patients and the time.
Only two more months. Give or take. To go and see the Bodies exhibition in Montreal. The display is obviously where? 5th floor Eaton Centre. What a surprise eh? Anyways the exhibition is leaving on the 30th of April. So go go go before its too late. Trust me. It’s completely worth it. It’s only about 20 bucks so don’t be cheap. You get to see what it would be like if you stared into the mirror and your skin was missing. Check out after the jump to hear the most incredible aspect of it all. [ Continue Reading ]
This is one of those things where you stand around. With a subtle squint in your eye. And your tongue pressing against your upper lip. You think. For a few moments. Stretching it out. Because I mean. C’mon. You and I both know that pretending to think makes you seem cool, smart and sophisticated. I do it all the time. But then. Suddenly. It dawns on you. And what else can you say but……………….
