Superrealistic Body Sculptures
Superrealistic sculptures indeed. There’s no other way to describe sculptures done with such detail that even their goose bumps are apparent. Their very emotions come through in their faces. These are no ordinary sculptures; these are very nearly real people. You might suspect they’re breathing if you didn’t know better.
Interestingly, I’m finding the men have this quiet happiness about their faces but the women seem tranquil with a little sadness mixed in. What are they thinking? Why so serious and sad, they make me wonder? (And that’s what I want art to do for me-make me think and wonder and ponder life and the people around me.)
