Since this is an art blog, and this is my introduction post, I thought I’d get it out of the way and write about my first “artist”:  Me.

I don’t really call myself an artist or illustrator because I don’t like labels or rules for that matter (see below). I’d like to think that I just create with whatever form I choose.

Anyway, the image above was something I was commissioned to do for the Edgar Allan Poe anniversary that just passed. Shameless self-promotion? Maybe. Against the cosmic rules as defined by man? Maybe. But if there is one thing people should know about me, it’s  that I don’t like rules.

You can find me in NY but  as for where I’m from, I am not sure. This planet seems so strange and so do its people. But art and appreciation of beauty?…that is something we all have in common.
