The most that I have ever done with straws were place them in the outermost corners of my mouth, make a funny noise, and pretend I was a walrus. This is totally more aesthetically appealing.
Artist and designer Scott Jarvie used 10,000 drinking straws to concoct the Clutch Chair. Meant to serve as a commentary on the disposability of our culture, this is more than your Al Bundy strewn together recliner. A think-piece. Think about it. Straw is to chair as expendable is to culture. Is that an SAT conundrum for you or what?
At least if you were to spill something on this chair it wouldn’t stain. It would simply drizzle right through!
