We have showed you a clip showcasing amazing talent from Ukraine before. But this just left me speechless. Kseniya Simonova is a 24 year old artist. She first started making these type of drawings last year on the beach and eventually it all progressed to this. All after the jump, you won’t regret it…
She eventually won the contest, 13 million people ended up watching the finale.

I just watched the video of Kseniya Simonova doing her sand drawings of the Ukraine during World War 2. It had me in tears. She is so good. Keep it up. May all of your dreams come true.
I’m a Filipino but her art speaks a thousand word it was so moving and I cant help it to shed a tears…it touched me. And this is the first time for me to see such a very unique art…and I commend for such a wonderful talent…very gifted at all!…Bravo!

I findit hard to Beleive that she only started doing this lst year on the Beach she is so talented.. I love her work.
Emocionante. Me dio escalofrios al ver su trabajo en arena. !Que preciosidad de artista es esta chica!. Me ha despertado interes en leer la historia de Ucrania, especialmente durante la epoca alrededor del 1945. Me intriga y se lo agradezco por brindarnos esta joya artistica.
I lay transfixed, my eyes burning and throat tight with the intensity of the emotions this young woman released in my heart. I wanted to cry ” My people , My people!”as I watched her work and rework with mastery across the light board.She is a speaker for the mute and for all of us who long for the ineffable.That is genius.What a gift she shares with us!
Its strange, I have mixed feelings about this. Its sad that most people don’t care about drawing/art unless its packaged like a circus event. I hate people thinking the ability to draw is a novelty. Also would she have won if she wasn’t so darn cute?
At the same time, I hope that she keeps trying new things and takes her technique as far as it can go. I love her focused face and precision sprinkles so would William Kentridge.

It’s a shame she does not have an offical website. There are a couple of profiles for her on Facebook that I think are fake and several groups with thousands of fans.
One of the largest groups has some legitimate offers for booking that sound great like performing for a group of Imagineers at Walt Disney Imagineering & a offer to
performance with the Grammy award winning Vancouver Symphony
before the Olympics.
