Roman Polanski’s “Greed”
I get a subscription for Interview Magazine, and last month they had an article on exiled and famous director Roman Polanski. In the article he talked about life, his ongoing battle with law, and the following video campaign that he has directed. Polanski was commissioned by an Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli to make his latest project, a commercial and an ad campaign for a fake perfume “Greed”.
Everyone wants this perfume but no one can get it, because it simply doesn’t exists. Roman chose two Hollywood famous actresses Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams to star in this fictitious campaign. The costumes are created by Miuccia Prada and art dealer Larry Gagosian produced the project, which will be exhibited at Vezzoli’s show in Rome.
