And Robert The is using his artistic skills and tongue-in-cheek sense of humor to remind us of just that. Walking that fine line between bizarre and functional, Robert The is an artist that takes books and cut forms out of them while creating a juxtaposition between the two. Especially when one considers that the book was originally a functioning creation — just as he sets out a metamorphosis for the book becoming something else… albeit, art. Interesting and rather thought provoking, these pieces ask us to think – and then think again… what came first, the art piece or the piece of art?
