Richard Mille’s Americas White Watch
As a celebration for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Richard Mille is launching an exclusive limited edition watch only to go for sale in the U.S. and Canada. The timepiece beauty goes by the model name RM011 DLC Titanium “Americas White”, and its design is sure to please sports aficionados, gadget kings, tech junkies, and sophisticated men alike.
The 40mm wide by 50mm tall case is made with diamond like carbon coated titanium which gives it durability, and if that was not enough it also changes color from black to wintry white (hence the name Americas White). The intricate design looks at lot like a racecar’s panel, and it could become a distraction for the user trying make a use of one of its multiple functions such as a 60min countdown timer, 12-hour chronograph, an annual calendar, or the tachymeter scale.
I bet wearing this watch would feel a lot like having a sports car on your wrist, and if you are one of the lucky 30 people to obtain this $90,000 limited edition watch by Richard Mille then please report back.
