When I look at this illustration, I am in awe. Pure emotions run through me as I see a mixture of innocence and destruction. The children looking at the remains of what could be their home, destroyed what may have been, due to war or some sort of natural disaster. Either way illustration is emotionally captive and inspiring even with its feeling of despair.
This work and the others in the gallery were produced by Croatian Graphics Designer, Ranko Blazina. His work is truly captivating as you look at his concepts and feel a flood of desired feelings you get from the pieces.
His other pieces are just as amazing as the first and when I look at them, I find it easy to visualize them. With a few of his created concepts, for example; Elephant Dream (3rd illustration in the gallery), I am able to picture this general scene, especially when I listen to my favorite instrumental band of the moment, Mono. I find it is definitely more fun to listen to music that you can relate to an image, perhaps you should try this out too and tell me what you think!
