OBSESSED. I heard a remake of a song that I love called “You’ve Got the Love” while I was shopping at the mall. As soon as I got home, I googled and found… Florence and the Machine. Her music has been featured on the ABC television drama Grey’s Anatomy as well as CBS’s How I Met Your Mother, MTV’s The Real World and her latest release is the remake of a very popular TI song called “Whatever You Like“. I think this remake of the song is amazing and the video is even cooler! Andrey Trofimchuk has designed an SUV for Maserati. Good for him. Bear in mind, no one has asked him to do this. As far as I know, Russian designer Trofimchuk isn’t associated with the Italian company. Maserati has expressed no intention of using his design, or even producing an SUV at all. This is just something he did.
Design company Maki located in the Netherlands is taking a fresh approach to custom gear. They describe themselves as “wacky, edgy, humorous, urban and intelligent” and I think they may be on to something. They claim to “do whatever you want us to do” which is why I think they are worth paying attention to.
