You know that part of Ghostbusters where Sigourney Weaver is floating above her bed. Yeah, well Gravity is kind of like that. But with less demon possession. God I loved Ghostbusters. The last time Dan Aykroyd was actually funny.

It’s not a secret that images have the ability to awaken different parts of our brains, and allow us to experience different things. We are an extremely visual society, and if you have been blessed with the gift of sight (I would assume if you’re reading these words), then how many times have you looked at a picture and found yourself completely being immersed at some random thought? Jim Kazanjian’s works could certainly cause your brain to trip out. [ Continue Reading ]

third eye blind And the Patrons at the Pub Keep SingingThird Eye Blind……Do I need to say anything else. For those of you who don’t know Third Eye Blind. You might not be part of the human race. You might as well go back to the ocean and swim with the whales or something. We land people like the feel good music of the 90′s. Or was it early Millenia. I forget sometimes. Anyways. Try to remember growing up and listening to these guys on your discman in a hot summer afternoon. Right after you sparked on of the first joints of your life. Just sink into something uplifting and somehow dismal…… [ Continue Reading ]

adidas gazelle2 3 The Timeless ClassicLet’s take some time. Look around the room. Pretend we hear some birds singing. Wondering what might be better. The white sands of tropicana. Or The painting sun somewhere in the Mediterranean. But there’s something more simple and realistically possible in life that gives off almost as much tranquil amazement. Drum roll please…. 08 Maloo Who? Maloo Cool. Maloo YouFrench graphic designer Maloo makes some really awesome illustrations. I’m sure she’s got a name. But research and me. Not best of friends. Just like hard work. I don’t even think I spelled her show name right. Anyways. Maloo makes really thin pictorials of everyday and not so everyday things in a swanky, classy twisted way. It’s the kind of thing you’ll see around the walls of some 60′s inspired high class, sophisticated apartment in Malibu, Manhattan and…uhhh….Montreal (cough, cough). So check out her stuff after the jump. I’m telling you it won’t disappoint. It’ll make you wanna pick up a Martini and play that awkward, melancholy upbeat jazz. So uh, don’t look at this at work. Or around people. [ Continue Reading ]

MU12 ARCADION 585x295 La Bocas Ridiculously Insane DesignsLa Boca for those of you who don’t know. Means mouth in Italian. But this has nothing to do with that. These guys are a bunch of very popular illustrators. Maybe you heard of them already. Maybe not. I know  I haven’t. They specialize in designs for film, music, fashion and a little something called curiously awesome. I think it’s what Atari would feel like if it were acid. So swallow these down. They’ll give you a pretty good buzz. Bringing you to a place where all you can see is a 1950′s sci-fi robot. Holding a big myriad-colour name. I think it reads “Retrocolour-tronic.” And you’ll see strange objects float all around you. Behind a velvet black backdrop.
