o house 4 O House

Though something called the O house brings to mind anything but O shaped bricks, I digress (with a wink.) In reality, it’s this very cool architectural piece designed by architects Philippe  Stuebi and Eberhard Troger. I wonder what inspired them to design a house with circular openings and round glass bricks. Imagine the reflection of light on round glass bricks and what that must look like. Imagine the clean vast white spaces throughout interspersed with concrete and metal throughout.

It’s extremely modern (I’m guessing a clothes hoarder such as myself-and my messy little rugrats-wouldn’t fit in there) but without the hard-edged boxy look you often see in modern minimalist design such as this. It’s softer in a way.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
