Now they’ve gone too far.
I’ll be honest, at first I scoffed at the invention of the “slanket” (that means ‘blanket you can wear’ in urban product dictionary terms). Now, I will say with pride that I have been converted to the comfortable ways of the Snuggie. And while I’m no expert in baby carrying products, I do dig the sling/ Baby Bjorn phenomena that has been taking over New York City. Better that than having you take up half the sidewalk with your obnoxious Bugaboo stroller. But this company “Mom 4 Life” has gone two steps too far with the invention of the “Peekaru”. It’s what happens when a baby sling meets a Snuggie and the results are positively frightening. I don’t care how comfortable you are or your child is, you look like an alien and it’s completely unnecessary. They invented jackets for reason and there’s no reason you and your offspring can’t have your own. Please, gods of product endorsement, please don’t let these things start popping up right and left. I won’t be able to walk through the park with a straight face.
