Nailed It

The first time i got acrylic nails was in High School.  I thought I was so cool cause my nails were fierce!  But every other girl in school had the same design.  (you know that french tip with the cotton candy color under?)  I should have gotten nails like these to blow everyone out of the water! (and blow the money out of my wallet too) check out for more!

The person that turned me on to nails is actually pretty surprising.  It was Katy Perry!  She used to update her tumblr rather frequently (but i think twitter’s more interesting now…)  Apparently, she had her nails designed to match her outfit for an Asian award show.  It was a sushi theme:

How awesome is that!!  I LOVE this idea.  And on a side tangent i love her style.  It’s quirky and fun and at times it seems akin to a pin up girl era.  Anyhow, I searched for more nail art and discovered these amazing pieces of art.  I have no clue how these women can function throughout their daily lives but power to them for wearing artwork!  I wonder if there’s underground nail shows like the Weave Hair Shows…hmmm…
