love is strange

After watching Terrence Malick’s haunting 1973 movie “Badlands”, I realized it’s one of many amazing films that center around a relationship so consuming that the characters become sort of lost or disoriented in this strange little world they’ve created- and the consequences are ugly. From shut-ins to murderers, these are my favorite dangerous duos (and trio) who gave new meaning to the idea of “us against the world” in some seriously hypnotizing films.
