Lions…and Tigers…and Beers OH MY

AJ Fosik is one talented guy from Michigan.  His woodwork creations are very detailed and beautifully crafted.  Did I mention he also creates beer sweaters?

Fosik’s art is almost totem-esque, but with a unique spin.  Most of his wooden structures have alien type qualities, which is an understandable concept considering his show at White Walls, titled “There’s Aliens in Our Midst.”  Looking through Fosik’s artistry many are identifiable as fierce woodland creatures we know and love (with the addition of a few extra sets of eyes and rows of teeth).  These critters dare us to think about the conventional versus the supernatural.

Although these little guys create a sense of mysticism,  Fosik’s beer sweaters do just the opposite.  I mean we all can identify with the  brewski.  Fosik’s beer sweaters are available through Urban Outfitters.
