lrx hires 002 600x450 533x400 Land Rover LRX Concept Is Green and Sexy

Did you really think that with all the green talk going around in the automotive world, Land Rover is not going to be a part of it? Well, it is. Introducing the Land Rover LRC Concept, first debuting in the 2008 Detroit Auto Show it was “Conceived as a 2.0-litre, Federalised, turbodiesel hybrid, with potential CO2 emissions of 120 g/km.” If that confused the hell out of you, don’t be disturbed, it just means it’s very green. In fact since this concept is the smallest, lightest and the most efficient Land Rover ever produced, UK has actually offered an additional 27 Million Pound grant to the Land Rover company to make this baby a reality. Whether the grant has been accepted is not known yet, since estimated costs of building this model could run up to 400 Million Pounds, those 27 Million don’t seem like much suddenly. Seems like we are going to find out soon…

Yeah, I use to own a Land Rover and I miss it soo much. I have been waiting forever, it seems, for them to release this bad boy. I’m getting one hella fast when it finally arrives.
