Roberto Kusterle has been expressing himself through visual art since I was born. That’s twenty-two years of old-fashioned soul-searching. Kusterle is an Italian born in 1948, and over the years he has created dozens of works of art. None are colourful. Kusterle employs nearly exclusively a monochromatic or sepia tone pallette in his work. And he is rarely joyful, often spinning images of nature into images of humanity in mildly disturbing ways. In many of his works of art, he uses the elements of nature to distort the human form, or the form of his surroundings.
