It’s a little-known fact that every year, jugglers from all over world wait with baited breath for the convention season to start up after a long summer of working. There are hundreds of meetings all over the US, in Canada, and across the rest of the world where groups of up to thousands of jugglers come together to hang out, train, trade tricks, take workshops, perform, cheer, boo – all the fun things that come with being a juggler. This past weekend was one of the most successful weekends for
festival-goers, as Juggle This, a juggling convention held in Brooklyn, pulled off one of its most successful festivals ever.
This year, Juggle This broke all the records. The ARC building at Pratt Institute was filled with more jugglers than any year previous. Participants hailed from all over NYC, including its two juggling clubs at Pratt and Carmine, all over America and Canada, as well as several from as far away as Germany. It was a weekend that everyone will be talking about for weeks to come.
