Irina Shaposhnikova

Finally, someone actually did the impossible… made patterned knits sexy and fun!  Irina Shaposhnikova is soon graduating from the MA at Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, and these knitting pieces, by Irina,  were recently featured in Russian Vogue.  The loosely woven and wrapped tube knits are held in place and secured to a beige or gray meshing, depending on the color of the knit.  I think we can expect to see great things from this fantastic designer.  A bit more information about Irina could be found here.
