I feel a sort of feng shui ease when look at the work of Meredith Dittmar. Her placement and serene expressions of her characters make me wish I had an animal head and positioned in a world reminiscent of Narnia.

Dittmar was actually raised near where I am from, good ol’ Boston, Massachusetts.  Her world was filled with haystacks followed by a world filled with interactive design.  Each creation intertwines human and plant species to create worlds depicting union, harmony, and biology.

Her works have been featured in magazines as well as the book, Mascotte 2, which also showcases other artists and their unique little character creations.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
