If You Really Must Know…The Quibbler
May 28th, 2009
Let me introduce myself, you may call me The Quibbler.
I enjoy art, but who doesn’t, right?
My given name is Nicole Lajeunesse, but I go by many other names as well… one such name being The Quibbler.
If you’re familiar with obscure terms of the English language, you will know that a quibbler is one who quibbles, which essentially means to criticize or to critique…and that is exactly what I’m going to do on Artistic Things; I am going to critique feature films.
My artistic specialty is film.
I heart film. I heart watching films. I heart making films. I heart the people in films.
I pretty much heart everything about films.
Now, I bet I know what you’re thinking: “Oh, gee…like we really need another film critic”. However, I don’t want to be just like the other infinitely many critics. Instead of merely reviewing movies currently in theatres, I will be presenting you readers with the not-so-mainstream films; those films that are hidden from the general public’s eye, but are definitely worth strolling down to your local video-rental store for.
I will also be covering some other artistic topics, but in general, you should expect to read about some unrecognized or unappreciated film. On your end, I would love to receive feedback on these critiques, to see what you think of the films I suggest to you.
Whatever subject I decide to post about, I certainly hope that you enjoy it as much as I do.
Until the next time,
The Quibbler

welcome!
I heart films too, all aspects, welcome to AT!
