Have you met Fred Flare? and Bacon Wallets for All!
December 15th, 2009

Looking for a unique holiday gift that is sure to be memorable? Look no further. The picture you see above may look to you like a greasy fold of uncooked bacon strips, but that my friends, is actually a wallet. Yes, Fred Flare an online store which recently opened a location in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is certainly a must on my list of places to stop by this holiday season. This boutique store has been selling their own brand of unique, sometimes handmade, items since 1998 and now also sell other peoples stuff – the true mark of success. As you’ll see on their site or in the pics below, their awesome collection includes wallets that resemble food items, bandages that resemble food items, vacuums that do the dirty deed for you, and who could ignore the mints that come in a container shaped like an original Nintendo controller! I already have my eye on several items from the avant garde shop and by the time you are done browsing you will too.

I want that wallet!
Yea, that makes me hungry every time I see it… Although I do only eat bacon in moderation :)
I wonder what someone would say if you whipped that out while paying for something; possibly while actually paying for bacon!
