Happy Earth Day!
Happy Earth Day everyone! Today is the 40th Anniversary, a day in which we take the time to appricaite and be aware of the Earth’s environment, and our roles within it. Many times we take it for granted, but we live in a very delicate world, which as far as we know is the only living world out there. So let’s try to do our best to recycle and conserve energy as we use it. Remember we make the bed we lay in.
Above is the view from the Internation Space Station. Traveling at an approximate speed of 17,500 miles per hour, the space station orbits Earth every 90 minutes from an altitude of approximately 220 miles, and can be seen from Earth with the naked eye. Its crew experiences 16 sunrises and sunsets each day.
