michael jackson concert 2 Farewell Michael Jackson You Changed Music ForeverA sad day, Thursday June 25th, 2009.  Michael Jackson, the man who revolutionized pop music, passes away after he was found not breathing by the LA Fire Department in his home.  At the time this post is being written, he has thought to have passed away due to cardiac arrest.  Michael was 50.  I have compiled a few of my personal favorite MJ music videos and a couple photos for you to browse through in remembrance, please take a moment to enjoy these phenomenal pieces of music history.

In his life time, his record sales reached somewhere around 750 million, and that combined with his 13 Grammy’s, makes him one of of the most successful entertainers of all time.

Thriller, the first solo album sold 21 million copies in the US alone, and 27 million globally.

MJ had been in LA for the past two months rehearsing for his line of 50 sold out concerts that were to begin on July 13th and end in March 2010.

Michael has three sons, Prince Michael I, Paris Michael, and Prince Michael II.

His music and talents have been missed in the past five shadowed years of his life.  What ever controversies played around him, no one can deny the brilliant talent  he was and love for entertaining that he possessed, and now, we will cherish what was left behind, grateful for what he did give us.
