When I think NEON, I think bad 80s; headbands, socks, jelly shoes, jelly bracelets, and Hyper T-shirts. But Japanese painter, Que Houxo, adds depth to his NEON paintings.
This former graffiti artist has taken the raw elements of street art and incorporated layering colors, using black lights and neon paints that drip from organic creations to create kaleidescopic visions of neon. Houxo is also using his talents for fashion. Premier bagmakers SAG, are displaying Houxo’s neon paint spliced bags that showcase an urban, hipster feel.
