Energy Conservation and Art

This high tech looking cuckoo clock is really what’s called an Energy Awareness Clock.   Created by an IT design firm in Sweden called Aware, this clock can measure the amount of electricity and energy you use during a specific time of day.  So, if you’re on the phone more in the evening or watching TV, it’ll show you just how much energy that exudes in real time.  Based on a 24 hour cycle, yesterday’s energy usage lingers while the new energy consumption is highlighted and portrayed over top, creating a beautiful design, but also relaying useful information.  Maybe cut back on watching Family Guy for awhile.  You don’t have to, I’m just sayin’…….
