Eat your heart out, Chef Boyardee
Much to my excitement, I stumbled upon this photograph by Francis Hills of a woman face-down in what appears to be either maggots or spaghetti. I’m hoping the latter, but with photogs these days taking pictures of women hiding in body cavities, it would hardly come as a surprise.
This is reminiscent of the food comas I go into after every holiday where I proceed to stuff my face with pasta at my grandmother’s house and then have to go lie down on the couch with my pants unbuttoned. This, essentially, could be a picture of me, dear friends. Except that I’m much hotter and skinnier than the model, of course. What can I say, I’m a sexy beast.
I like this macaroni picture, but it’s challenged for first place with the pics of the ladies eating fish farts. *sigh* so hard to choose just one fave. Anyhow, enough about me, let’s focus on Francis…*focuses*…OK, that’s enough. To read more about the man behind the lens, click here. The link brings you to a page which talks about Hills’ life and lack of formal training in the art of photography, but more importantly, features a a jaw-droppingly original quote by the photog; “If you don’t ask the question, you’ll never know what the answer might be. And then never take no for an answer! Be fearless.” Brilliance at its finest. Like when I was stalking Brad Pitt..I kept asking him to marry me, but he kept saying “no.” But I didn’t take no for an answer! We’re now married but he doesn’t know it. Plus, the restraining order expires in, like, a year ;) That, my friends, is perseverance. Follow your dreams, just like Francis and me, and you shall prosper.
