Die Antwoord is a Zef-Rap act from Cape Town, South Africa consisting primarily of three members, Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er and DJ Hi-Tek. Prepare your self for something that you’ve never seen and heard before. These guys are true to their roots and confusing as fuck! But I like it. Your first impressions are probably not going to be good, unless you are into crazy shit and I really mean crazy shit. Die Antwoord made their live performance debut in February, 2009 at Ramfest, a yearly alternative music festival outside Worcester, Western Cape, South Africa where they performed their song “Doosdronk” with punk rock act Fokofpolisiekar and rapper Jack Parow. They identify them selves as a melange of several diverse cultures all mixed into one. The band has signed with Netherlands music company Magnetron Music and is planning to tour Europe in April 2010 and the USA later that same year.
