Troyt Coburn is a great photographer. This may not be evident in all of the thumbnails below, as in my opinion they aren’t the greatest pictures ever, but the samples on his site tell a completely different story. Why then, you may wonder, did I post not-so-great pictures when there is a plethora of others a thousand times more pleasing to the eye? Because, dear friends, I have no idea how to save the pictures from his website and so I was limited in my quest to shove Troyt Coburn’s greatness in your face. [ Continue Reading ]

Jerome Blanchard has a pretty impressive collection of product designs. Encompassing watches, furniture, and even Japanese-styled knives, it comes as no surprise that this young French designer has recently developed a new and improved bicycle that not only looks trendy, but also incorporates technology to make it efficient and eco-friendly. domsai 266x400 Chia Pets, you just got OWNED

Move over Chia, you’re just a loser now and no one wants you. Why? Because you’ve been replaced by much cooler things, and not even your new Obama pet can save you. The redonculously expensive decorative pieces are the product of Matteo Cibic‘s imagination and cost almost a thousand dollars. Well, the white ones cost 100 Euro, but not the one that I like! And while I can easily think of a number of other plants whose bypoducts cost [slightly] less but deliver much more of a punch, I really want one of these. Matteo…can I have one? I like the one with the gold pants. I’m making my sexy face right now…you can’t resist me. [ Continue Reading ]

bocprint1 426x400 The Human Printer.

CMYK refers to the tiny dots of four inks that are used in most color printing: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black). Most of you probably already knew that—and my many graphic designer friends will  probably think less of me for this—but I learned about CMYK just now. Why? Because I wanted to tell you all about The Human Printer. [ Continue Reading ]

condom3 397x400 Dressed to Protection

Now, ladies and gents, you can prepare yourself in attire that offers the utmost protection (in more ways than one).  Imagine this.  You are wearing a brand new latex (ahem..condom) dress for an evening out on the town.  You meet that special someone and can’t resist the urge to pounce.  But wait, no one has a condom readily at hand.  You do!  Just detach from anywhere on your condom couture and you are ready to get it on.  Cherry-flavored too.
