MU12 ARCADION 585x295 La Bocas Ridiculously Insane DesignsLa Boca for those of you who don’t know. Means mouth in Italian. But this has nothing to do with that. These guys are a bunch of very popular illustrators. Maybe you heard of them already. Maybe not. I know  I haven’t. They specialize in designs for film, music, fashion and a little something called curiously awesome. I think it’s what Atari would feel like if it were acid. So swallow these down. They’ll give you a pretty good buzz. Bringing you to a place where all you can see is a 1950′s sci-fi robot. Holding a big myriad-colour name. I think it reads “Retrocolour-tronic.” And you’ll see strange objects float all around you. Behind a velvet black backdrop.

The music industry is one of the hardest to break into, and perseverance is a major ingredient for success in the magical world of those who make it. Aside from great music, charisma, and lots of talent, you need a certain something to set you aside from the rest, and Toronto’s indie rock band The Cunnignhams certainly got that je ne sais quoi about them that will take them far. lupe fiasco Failure is The CoolMy mom can’t feed me. I have sex for money. This nonsense built me. My teacher won’t teach me. My master beats me. And it was all becoming cool. I found a condom on the ground that Johns would cum into and thought: what constitutes a prostitute is the pursuit of profit. They say I’m infected. [ Continue Reading ]

band151 585x347 We Were Sure Wed Never See an End to it AllLet’s take it back a while. I don’t know what it is with me lately. But you should know that I’ve recently found all my old CD’s. They were tucked away in some box. Lost within the jungle garage. For a good few years. Not only that. But my itunes is working again. Yes. There is divine intervention at hand here. I’m going to be talking alot more about music from now on. You might like it. You might not. But let’s sink anyways. Into 1979…… [ Continue Reading ]

FM1 449x399 Strut Kissing StrutEver hear Miss You by The Rolling Stones? No. Wow. I hate to say it. But you just might suck. Oh you have heard of it. Well. So has everyone else. Not me though. Like I said. I suck. Sometimes. But not really. Because that’s my song. You know. Like how drunk girls say it. I just think it has more meaning that way. (You can nod your head in agreement now) Well Fujiya & Miyagi remind you of that song by those Rolling Stones and all it’s strutting goodness. Except they got this contemporary, more slow-pace, slick vibe juju happening. Like the vibrations you get in your Collarbone when you get struck by the strange funk. [ Continue Reading ]
