Already seen this one in a few movies, it’s a beauty for sure.  There are cars out there that are simply a piece of art, not just visually but technically as well. Concerned with saving energy, Audi R8 will be the world’s first full LED lit automobile.  LEDs use a quarter of energy of the halogen lights used today.  Set to be out for production in 2010, this sex machine no doubt will be in high demand.  Can’t wait to see it in person.

As a kid the cars I wanted most were the Batmobile, KITT from “Knight Rider” and a Jag. Any Jag. Jags were these powerful yet elegant jungle cats on wheels gobbling up pavement and turning heads; also the hood ornament probably reminded me a little bit of the Thundercats. In the time since my grade school days Jaguar’s public standing and sales figures have taken a bit of a hit. The hopes are that new XF can change the brand’s fortunes.

The XF first came to my attention after reading Braden Phillips’s article in the New York Times. More recently I got some details on the diesel version of the car at flylyf.com and have come away both hopeful and expectant. And since none of you got me that McLaren I was angling for I think this would make a great make up present. Liquid silver metallic finish, please.

Rolls-Royce’s bespoke division is churning out yet another special edition Phantom. The Phantom Sapphire joins the Phantom Pearl, Phantom Silver, and Phantom Tungsten in the RR family’s line of ultra-premium luxury vehicles. The Sapphire boast a longer wheelbase than its siblings and features two interior options, either navy blue leather with seashell accents or seashell leather with navy blue accents.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed for the Phantom Diamond or the Phantom Adamantium edition to save ourselves the embarrassment of driving the same car twice in one week; commutes are hellish enough without having to be seen in your Tuesday’s ultra-premium luxury vehicle on a Friday.

Seems live Volvo is steping up it’s game by presenting this new radical concept of the Volvo s60.  As we all know Vovlo’s are known for their safety features while the cosmetics of the car usually scream out for imporvements, in my opinion.  Obviously  this concept is an aggressive attempt to catch up with a more modern looking Vovlo.  Planned to debut at the next annual Detroit car show, this baby is expected to bring some attention.

Here is another sweet ride I cannot afford… This one is customized by designer Christian Audigier and edo Competition.  This Lambo is not just customized comsetically, it also got some serious customizations under the hood.  You can get one for a sweet $692,500 each, there will be only 5 made,  and each will be customized specifically for each client.

I know it’s late notice, but this what you should be getting me for Christmas: The 2009 McLaren Stirling Moss SLR. Seriously.

The Mercedes Benz - McLaren SLR collaboration is ending with one magnificent automotive orgasm of carbon fiber and rubber. Even without a windshield this thing is perfect. No more words; let’s just light a cigarette and bask in the afterglow.

First of all, WOW… I want to have sex with this thing, it’s so sexy!  Crafted by a Danish company Zenvo Automotive, this 1,104 horsepower beast is hard to ignore.  With a mid-mounted turbocharged and supercharged 7.0-liter V8 engine, this thing is made for speed and speed only, 0-60 in 3.2 seconds I would be afraid to drive it.  First cars planned to be out on the roads some time in the 2009, if I was a rich celebrity I would be calling my accountant right now, because there is only 15 of these babies that are scheduled for production.  It’s ok I’ll just stare and drool.  [ Autoblog ]

Pretty cool Acura concept design by Leon Paz.  It is aggressivle designed to attract a younger crowd to the Acura NSX brand.  In short a cheaper version of NSX which the young guns can actually afford.

A concept design created by Alex Hodge a designer from Dunedin, New Zealand.  It will be powered by a Honda RC51 V-twin 999cc engine, with a redline of 10,000rpm, 120RWhp and a theoretical top speed of 233 kilometers per hour. Of course all the kinks have not been worked out yet, but it would be nice to see something like this driving around.  Im sure Californians would love it. New Yorkers, well not on these roads.
