smith 1 585x390 Art imitating life?

Behold the scene above. The naked dead lady looks like my grandmother’s pincushion. Minus the nipples, of course. And I know it’s a funeral scene, but is it me or is it really cute? It’s like the Muppet Show meets Six Feet Under, or “The Death of Raggedy-Ann.” Adam Parker Smith is the mastermind behind this coolness, in case you were wondering.

uno backweb 200x400 Hes simply Fabio lous

Fabio Lattanzi Antinori is an Italian-born photographer currently residing in England. I guess he took that Arrivederci, Roma thing too seriously. younger than jesus exhibit 585x393 Younger Than Jesus

On April 8, 2009, NYC’s The New Museum began its new signature triennial exhibition entitled  The Generational: Younger Than Jesus. The one of a kind exhibition, which runs through July 5, 2009, is inspired by the fact that some of the  most influential art ever made has come at the beginning of young artists’ careers. For that reason it is displaying approximately 145 works from 50 artists, all under the age of 33. The artists represent a total of 25 countries and just as diversely, the mediums range from painting, to video games ,to installation, and cover everything in between.
