bluesmear Im jealous

So, I tried googling Richard Burbidge and it turns out that he doesn’t even have his own website :O how scandalous. Actually, I did find one, but I highly doubt that it concerns the Richard Burbidge in question. Just as I was beginning to think that this person was more like a unicorn– a creature of legends that no one has ever really seen before (much like a billion dollars: we all know it exists, but who the hell has ever been even remotely close to such affluence?)– my lightbulb went on and I solved the mystery. I typed in “Richard Burbidge + photography,”  and realized that his name is Burbridge, not Burbidge. I know, genius, right? But please, don’t be jealous. We can’t all be sleuths like me, but you can all be my Watsons. [ Continue Reading ]

Illustrator Jeffrey Thomas is doing his part to even the score with his Twisted Princess series. Powerful, malicious, sexy, and insane, these heroines are like a welcome gift to all girls who are scared and confused by adolescence. [ Continue Reading ]

19114594 Art in Horror Films is Harder to Find

With the newest installment of The Final Destination coming out (in 3D no less) I was pondering where the art in horror film making has gone to. I had to search and remind myself of the films that have made this genre what it is. Crap be damned, there are good, artful horror flicks out there, you just have to wade through the rest to find them.
