Description
I was born in Seoul, Korea and have lived all along the East Coast since I was 3 years old (I'm an Air Force Brat). I began writing as a young girl. Mostly it was bad poetry and journal entries. As time went on, it became more journal entries, better poetry, and songs. I am a freelance journalist for a local publishing company in Richmond, Va., where I write for Sports Backers Quarterly and RichmondGrid Magazine. I am also just breaking into the field of SEO writing. In my spare time I enjoy working as an art and music teacher for elementary and middle school students! I'm excited to get started at ArtisticThings.com!! I hope you enjoy my pieces!

em1 315x400 The Complicated Cartoonist

My first glance at these Evan Meister illustrations, I was initially struck with a cartoony, Saturday morning Smurfs and Snorkels kind of feeling.  Upon further speculation, I realized the lightness of color had fooled me and it was intestines, blood, and guts I was witnessing. projectedview 300x400 THERE’S ALWAYS ROOM FOR J E L L O!

Andrew Salmone is an international artist that celebrated funny man Bill Cosby’s birthday, on July 12th 2009, by bringing him to life in a portrait made out of 1,000 shots of JELL-O! Talk about you are what you eat! I think even good ole clean fun lovin’ Bill would love to see himself decked out in a tastefully, sinful array of JELL-O shots.
