Her color rich sculptures, made with just cardstock and a blade, explode out of the nothing, leaving a colorful aftermath to dance in your eyes.  Their siblings are vibrantly abstract drawings, which she creates using felt tips and pencil crayons, and animations that daze.

(While simultaneously recycling your bread crumbs.)  The artist and “recyclodesigner” is based in Barcelona, Spain and as you can see, his designs focus on “a type of harmony, respect and balance between people and the Earth, aiming to fulfill a specific function in a basic and direct manner.”

The Lapcounter by Tomas Kral is a transportable plastic tray that fits snuggly over your lap and allows you to slice, dice, peel, mince and chop, all while sitting comfortably on your couch or armchair. It’s one of  the  Slovak designer’s many simple and functional designs which you can check out here, but only after you’ve ripped that Snuggie off your couch potato and put them to work!
