Inspired by ‘science, infinity, the potential of simple things and the exposure of color,’ Jen Stark’s three dimensional talent is expressed through sculpture, drawing, and animation. Her color rich sculptures, made with just cardstock and a blade, explode out of the nothing, leaving a colorful aftermath to dance in your eyes. Their siblings are vibrantly abstract drawings, which she creates using felt tips and pencil crayons, and animations that daze.
Curro Claret’s spin on the bird feeder makes for a wonderful and functional interaction between man and bird. (While simultaneously recycling your bread crumbs.) The artist and “recyclodesigner” is based in Barcelona, Spain and as you can see, his designs focus on “a type of harmony, respect and balance between people and the Earth, aiming to fulfill a specific function in a basic and direct manner.”
