Antichrist movie ad 002 ANTICHRIST

It happened. This is not, in fact, the early seventies, and yet someone FINALLY made a good, deeply terrifying horror movie.

Notorious sick bastard Lars von Trier seems to understand that “horror” doesn’t mean aliens or toothy monsters or Adrien Brody in a giant porcupine costume (you suck, M. Night Shyamalan). It means what we, as humans, don’t understand and subsequently fear: death, grief, insanity, the horrible things we’re capable of (hello, “Lord of the Flies”), and the sort of “rabbit holes” in our own minds. “Antichrist” dives head-first into all that stuff, in a beautiful, brilliant, and yes, horrifying way. Here’s the trailer:

Hi – very good web site you have created. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to write a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically sweet. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed working with information processing systems and am attempting to learn code in my spare time (which there is never enough of lol).

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
