Illustrator Aleksandra Marchocka is reinventing the sultry pinup with her sexy cartoons. Though for some it might come off a bit crass, I think illustrates a great balance between gentle and tough, soft and sexy. The faces of the girls are tough, boistrous, and very expressive while their body language remains very easy flowing and fairy like. There is an element of fantasy that comes into play but there is also a lot of realism going on as well. And the muted black and whites and pale purples and pinks used gives the whole portrait a very classy overtone.
